Experience and Success
“The banks have attorneys...AND SO SHOULD YOU!”
As the youngest winner ever of the Orange County Trial Lawyer Association’s prestigious Trial Lawyer of the Year award, Eric Traut distinguished himself as one of the top trial attorneys in Southern California. He has been selected by his peers through votes tallied by Los Angeles Magazine as one of the 50 Super Lawyers in Orange County in both 2008 and 2009 and has been named a Super Lawyer every year since 2004. He was the youngest member ever admitted to the Orange County Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) at the age of 33 in 1998. He will serve as President-Elect for the Chapter in 2009. He has handled several high-profile cases which have resulted in appearances on Good Morning America, Fox News, Court T.V. and ABC’s “Primetime.” In 2008, he was named Alumni of the Year from Western State University Law School.
We are trial lawyers with more than thirty years of litigation experience. We understand that in today's mortgage environment, homeowners trying to save their homes often feel like it's David vs. Goliath.
Our attorneys have extensive experience in mortgage banking, real estate and litigation. Lead attorney, Eric Traut, is widely recognized for his skills in handling complex cases and cutting to the heart of critical issues.
We understand that litigation can be part of a strategy for negotiating with the bank, and we bring all of our efforts and expertise to bear for our homeowner-clients.
We build our cases by listening closely to the client, and by gathering the relevant information so we can understand exactly what the bank has done to you and how it has impacted your life and your family. After analyzing your case in detail, an attorney will discuss your case with you in a frank and open fashion. We will agree to represent you only if we are 100% certain that you fully understand the possible reward, the potential risks and the likely expense.
With the understanding that most cases never go to trial, we aggressively negotiate with the banks in an attempt to reach an acceptable resolution for our clients without the costs of prolonged litiation and/or trial whenever possible. However, if need be we will be prepared to take your bank to trial and hold them accountable!
Our state of the art case management process, proactive negotiation skills and documented experience in litigation have led to a successful outcome for many of our clients. Yes the banks have their attorneys. That is why you need the Traut Law Group!
